Thursday Jazz Nights with the Gino Castillo Trio

Eli’s Table is starting the New Year with a Swing with our Thursday Jazz Nights featuring Charleston’s Best Jazz Artist, The Gino Castillo Trio!

Every Thursday from 6-9pm we feature the very best in Jazz, Food and Wine in the relaxing atmosphere of our cozy restaurant.

Here’s a little bit more about Gino Castillo:

Tour, Recording, Educator and Clinician Percussionist, Composer and Singer.

His Background included: 
Honorary degree in percussion teaching, giving for George Gershwin Conservatory 
Percussion studies in Caturla Conservatory,  Felix Varela Conservatory, and many private lessons  Including several years of weekly sessions with Oscarito Valdes (Cuba) 

Since then his musical talent has been heard in many albums, and live shows, as he has collaborated with many international artists, such as:
Earl Klugh, Ray Parker, Michael Mossman, Etienne Charles
Horacio el Negro Hernández, Quentin Baxter, Oscarito Valdés  
Charleston Jazz Orchestra, Charleston Smooth Jazz Orchestra

Charleston Latin Jazz Collective, Jose Pepito Gomez, John Benítez,

Eli’s Table Celebrates 4th Anniversary in Style!

It was a star-studded gala for our 4th Anniversary Party this past Wednesday at Eli’s Table. Our CEO Sam Mustafa and his son, Eli (our namesake) were there to welcome and greet the many guests.

Our own bartender Dylan Duckworth took to the mic to sing along with our great Jazz Band and Chef Joel’s amazing spread tasted exquisite!

This Certified Angus Beef is served with creamy whipped potatoes and fresh grilled asparagus all drizzled with a whisky aus jus. Eli’s Table New Menu April 21

Eli’s Table unveiled their new menu on Tuesday, April 21 to include a few signature items that are sure to please the palate.

Start with the newest twist on fried green tomatoes, the Fried Green Tomato Napoleon. This stack is piled high with pimento cheese, tomato coulis, and an aged balsamic napoleon glaze. Next try out the seasonal salad options. The Eli’s Forager’s Salad is full of fresh kale, lemon-olive oil, tart blackberries, watermelon radishes, shaved red onion, and a sweet vincotto.

Now it’s time for the main course; I recommend diving straight into the Duck Waffles. These sweet potato waffles come out fluffy and hot covered in crispy fried brussels sprouts and generous servings of seared duck breast, all drizzled with a malted bacon glaze.

The memory of this great meal sticks with you long after the table has been cleared.
